GEGARD "THE DREAMCATCHER" MOUSASI (29-2) VS RAMEAU THIERRY "THE AFRICAN ASSASIN" SOKODJOU (7-4)Mousasi is coming off an impressive win over Renato Sobral to win the StrikeForce LHW title. Sokodjou is coming off a "Fedor-Record-Padder" type fight with a win over Bob Sapp at Dream 11. I don't think Sokodjou has much of a chance here so this fight will definitely give StrikeForce time to replay some of the under card fights on CBS. I'm taking Mousasi by submission in the 1st.
JASON "MAYHEM" MILLER (29-6) VS JAKE SHIELDS (28-4) - MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Miller is coming off of a NC against Ronaldo Souza because Mayhem thought he was playing a game of soccer. Jake Shields is coming off an impressive submission over Robbie Lawler back in June. I never really had an issue with Miller & his stupid entrances until he decided to call me a "Fag" on Twitter a few months ago when I asked him if he was ducking Shields. Since then I really lost a lot of respect for him. I personally think he is a clown that will never hold a legitimate belt in any major organization besides the WWE. I honestly don't see this fight being very close. Shields is a Black Belt in BJJ so my guess is he tries taking it to the ground quickly. I'm taking Shields by submission in the 2nd.

FEDOR "THE LAST EMPEROR" EMELIANENKO (30-1) VS BRETT "THE GRIM" ROGERS (10-0)We as MMA fans all know who Fedor is while the rest of the world has no clue. He is regarded by some as the best P4P fighter in the world. I think that's a slap in the face of every fighter that continually takes on the very best opponents in their weight class instead of fighting has been champs & Hong Man Choi. Fedor in my opinion was the best P4P back in 05' when he beat Cro Cop. I recently posted on Twitter that he & the White Sox have one thing in common, they were both the best in the world in 2005. It's not 2005 anymore...sorry Fedor fans but if he beats Rogers...who really cares? What does that prove? Rogers beat Arlovski after Fedor did. Both of those wins would have impressed me in Arlovski's prime but I couldn't have cared less when it happened in Affliction. Why do you think Arlovski & Sylvia were in Affliction in the first place? I think Rogers has an excellent punchers chance to beat Fedor. If Rogers wasn't careless & stayed on the outside I don't think Fedor would bother coming in and it would end up being one of the worst fights in MMA history...but...I think that Fedor stays on the outside until Rogers has had enough. As much as I would hate to see it I think Fedor catches Rogers with his famous "Look down at the mat & throw a hay maker" right hands that rocks him. Fedor will take a dazed Rogers down with ease & sink an arm bar to the delight of the Russian fans at the Sears Centre. I am really hoping Rogers catches Fedor in the 1st & KO's him just to hear his fans say "It was ring rust", "It was luck", "When's the rematch", "It's his first time in a cage"...but... I'm taking Fedor by submission in the 2nd.
I will be at the event Saturday Nov 7th and I will also be on Twitter with results. You can Follow Me for the under card results & make sure to watch it live on CBS.
