Ross Pearson (Winner by TKO 2nd Rd.) looked phenomenal. His striking was great. He continually mixed it up the entire fight. Aaron Riley didn't know where the next punch or kick was coming from. Pearson reminded me of GSP throwing a 3 punch combo & following up with a high kick seamlessly. I was really impressed & I can't wait to watch this guy fight again.
Matt Brown (Winner by TKO 3rd Rd.) surprised me as well. That guy has heart. His ground game has improved. He rolled out of a Kimura attempt in the 3rd & ended up on top. I picked James Wilkes to win but it wasn't his night.
Michael Bisping (Winner by TKO 2nd Rd.) also surprised me. I picked Kang thinking his right hand would find Bisping's chin & It did..but didn't end the fight. Kang's cardio needs some work in my opinion. Bisping wore him out through out the fight. I'm curious to see who Bisping gets to fight next. As long as he keeps his mouth shut & keeps improving he will be fine.
Dan Hardy (Winner by UD) picked apart Mike "Skin & Bones" Swick. I picked Swick to win the fight. He didn't look like himself at all in my opinion. He looked tired the whole fight & Hardy surprisingly had his way with him. Hardy supposedly gets a shot at GSP next (Both future TUF coaches?). I think Hardy may have a chance if he fights at his own level & he uses his reach to his advantage.

Randy Couture (Winner by UD) did what he always does. He kept Vera up against the cage & utilized dirty boxing for most of the fight. I tweeted that night I thought Vera trained for Randy's style like Jason Miller trained for Shields. I picked Randy to win but I really thought Vera would have kicked a lot more to create space. A few people thought Randy "Looked his age". I'm curious what that means & who they compared him to? There are no other 46 year old men fighting this level of competition in any major organization to my knowledge. How exactly is a 46 year old man supposed to look in the cage? It has been rumored that Couture gets the winner of the Griffin/Ortiz fight. I would like to see him fight either of those guys.
