FisttacuffRadio So it's our first time making predictions with THE PAIN PALACE, but I am glad that it has fallen in line with UFC 105 in Manchester England. This card looks to have some great matches, between Couture vs. Vera, Swick vs. Hardy, and Bisping vs. Kang. These are the three fights that I really want to focus on, not only because they are the big draw on the card, but because these fights could really go either way.

Bisping vs. Kang

This fight is really interesting to me, you have Bisping once again on an England card where he will have the crowd behind him and Kang is coming in with really no fans behind him. (Don't get me wrong, I am sure there are people in the crowd who will be cheering for him, but nothing like what Bisping will have). I honestly think that Kang is going to do some serous damage to Bisping when it comes to the stand-up. I have never been impressed with Bisping, the guy puts a horrible taste in my mouth. I can't stand him when he's fighting and I hope he never gets a microphone ever! This fight I see as Kang's to give up. I think Bisping will be looking to finish this fight, not only because of the last loss he had, but also being in England he wants to put on a good show for all of his fans. The thing that I think could be bad for Bisping is still the knockout that came at the hands of Hendo! Knockouts like that change guys. Look at Wandy vs. Crocop, Wandy has never been the same, I think Kang will be to aggressive and to much for Bisbing. I am calling this a knock out in round two! Bisping will fall asleep on the campus hard!

Swick vs. Hardy

Swick is a great fighter and can really give a guy a hard time. Hardy however falls into this same bracket of fighter. Swick and Hardy are both on winning streaks, Swick with 4 under his belt and Hardy with a streak of 6. Both of these fighters are looking for the win and a shot at the belt. Hardy is a guy that likes to get in his opponents head and he does a good job at it. I just don't think that he will get in Swick's head. Either way I see this fight being a barn burner, but I think that it will be over quick as both will be trying to make a statement. I just feel that Hardy will be outclassed by Swick and I see Swick winning this fight in the first round by TKO due to ground and pound after catching hardy on the chin!

Randy Couture vs. Brandon Vera

This match up is even in my mind due to Randy coming off of two losses and his age. I don't find Vera to be a top caliber fighter. All his talk about holding belts and being one of the best makes me laugh. I have never been impressed with Vera, it seems like anytime he gets against top level fighters he flops. Tim Sylvia was a disaster for the kid as he does not belong in the HW division. I think his height is the only advantage he really has, other then his leg kicks, but when has Randy ever lost to leg kicks? He eats them and then makes you pay. I don't think Vera will be able to deal with Randy and his clinch if Randy can close the distance and if he gets Vera in the clinch the dirty boxing could mean lights out for Vera. Bottom line I just don't see Vera being a threat to Randy at 205, unless Randy's chin is going which I don't see being an issue yet!
